This experience sparked Molly's interest in graphic design and typography, which lead her to pursue a typography concentration at UCLA.

In addition to print design and branding, Molly is also an accomplished calligrapher who loves to incorporate hand-made elements such as hand-lettering, letterpress and watercolor into her design work. Her calligraphy has been featured in C Magazine (Spring 2011) as well as two forthcoming books by RotoVision Press (Calligraphy, Fall 2011, and I Heart Stationery, Winter 2012). She has received commendations for her calligraphy by such websites as Daily Candy, Brooklyn Bride and 100 Layer Cake.

Prior to her work with Softfirm, Molly worked as a freelance designer for a number of design-focused companies including The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Neenah Paper, xpedx and Elan Polo.
